Lisa Murkowski strikes back

Yesterday, Donny had his Secretary of the Interior, Ryan Zinke, baldly threaten to respond to Senator Murkowski's votes against the Republican health care bills by retaliating against the State of Alaska.
This may have proved to be an error. Senator Murkowski isn't up for reelection until 2022, by which time Donny will already be a page in the history books. Moreover, she's already proven (in 2010) that she doesn't need to be the Republican nominee to win re-election in her state. In fact, according to Nate Silver, she'd have won reelection last year if every registered Republican in the state had stayed home. So she really doesn't need any support from Donny's base.
Today, Senator Murkowski responded. She chairs the Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee, which has Interior Department nominees within its jurisdiction. The Committee announced earlier today that it was postponing actions on six Administration nominees, three of whom were slated for the Department of the Interior. --Bob
