French actress who had a string of great roles with directors like Truffaut, Vadim, and Malle in the 50's and 60's. I wasn't big on foreign films back then, but I remember her for two of her relatively infrequent roles in American films: The Train opposite Burt Lancaster and Monte Walsh opposite Lee Marvin.

Age 89.
