Jude Law was in Enemy at the Gates, so there's a match with Matt Damon and The Talented Mr. Ripley.

I haven't been around lately because I was just hired as the new moderator of another game show forum. I will be hosting games every Thursday over there starting on September 14, so I've been hard at work on new material. I can, however, parachute in here and contribute some matches.

A-31. MICHAEL CAINE (Mr. Morgan's Last Love) with Gillian Anderson (B-34. THE X FILES)
A-39. SAM ROCKWELL (Mr. Right) with Anna Kendrick (B-35. PITCH PERFECT)
A-75. ROSALIND RUSSELL (Mrs. Pollifax-Spy) with Darren McGavin (B-37. A CHRISTMAS STORY)
A-34. TERENCE STAMP (The Mind of Mr. Soames) with Robert Vaughan (B-38. DELTA FORCE)

Helen Mirren was in Teaching Mrs. Tingle. One of the co-stars was Katie Holmes (Phone Booth).

(I remembered the Mrs. Tingle and looked up to get the exact name).

Nine actors will be used twice and two will be used three times.

I'm trying to avoid wholesale cheating and picking my brain here to come up with these.

Demi Moore (About Last Night) was in Mr. Brooks with Kevin Costner
John Lithgow (Garp) was in Miss Sloane with Jessica Chastain
Shelley Winters (Delta Force) was in Buona Sera with Gina Lollobrigida

I was not aware of Mr. Morgan's Lost Love, but it obviously works, so throw it in as an extra.

I had been thinking Don Knotts would be here for The Ghost and Mr. Chicken, but couldn't come up with' any costars. Now that I am reminded of Mr. Limpet, I woder if it could be paired with Wait Until Dark's evil Carlino, Jack Weston.

I wanted to use Don Knotts twice, but none of the Ghost and Mr. Chicken co-stars really worked.

Completing a couple of partials so we can see where we stand....

I looked this one up.

A-9. PAUL NEWMAN and A-48. JOANNE WOODWARD (Mr. and Mrs. Bridge) with Blythe Danner (B-34. THE X FILES)

Knowing Frank's love of character actors, I kept looking for Sara Allgood or Donald Crisp for this one. I shouldda stuck with the leading lady...

A-27. SPENCER TRACY (Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde) with Ingrid Bergman (B-36. YELLOW ROLLS ROYCE)

And some are DUH! moments.

A-16. RITA HAYWORTH (Miss Sadie Thompson) with Jose Ferrer (B-25. TO BE OR NOT TO BE)

A-10. SHIRLEY TEMPLE (Little Miss Broadway) with Edward Ellis the thin man of (B-15. THE THIN MAN)

A-60. GREER GARSON (Mrs. Miniver) with Dame May Whitty (B-8. NIGHT MUST FALL)

Two birds with one stone.

I had a feeling that the link to Peter O'Toole's Mr. Chips wouldn't be Petula Clark, due to her limited filmography and I was right.

It's Michael Redgrave, who was in The Innocents. And Redgrave was also in Mr. Arkadin, so that completes that matchup as well.

One I thought I'd answered but obviously didn't.....

A-66. RICKI LAKE (Mrs. Winterbourne) with Shirley MacLaine (B-36. YELLOW ROLLS ROYCE)

Third use of Yellow Rolls Royce.

A-58. EVA GREEN (Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children) with Samuel L Jackson (B-7. JUNGLE FEVER)

I had to look this up to make sure I wasn't misremembering this and I wasn't. Virginia Field played several different roles in several different Mr. Moto movies.

A-37. PETER LORRE (Mr. Moto) with Virginia Field (B-32. DANCE, GIRL, DANCE)

And one more... another DUH. Gee, I says to myself I says, it's a shame Delta Force isn't Rambo so we could have a Richard Crenna movie here for Eve Arden.

A-45. EVE ARDEN (Our Miss Brooks) with Richard Crenna (B-29. WAIT UNTIL DARK)

A number of legit alternate answers have popped up, which probably won't hurt the final outcome, so I haven't bothered with them. However, Citizen Kane will need to be used again, so it's only fair for me to say that my intended Mr. Lucky match was Laraine Day in I Married a Communist.
