I want to see free delivery on this

#1 Post by SpacemanSpiff » Tue Aug 15, 2017 9:22 am

This actually was from a pop-up ad for Home Depot, which said (though I doubt) it has free shipping. Of course, excavation is extra. [EDIT: IT does say "free shipping on selected items" so this likely doesn't qualify.]

No word on its protectiveness in case of eclipses, zombies, or nuclear attacks.

That's actually pretty cool. It would make a great hideout for kids (probably not recommended, but still, as a kid, I'd love it).

You'd want to make sure in a panic you don't confuse the septic tank cover for this one.

Curbside Shipping.......................................................................................... $55.00
•Location: To your curb or the receiving area of your job site.
•Scheduling: Carrier will call to arrange a 4-hour window.

Not bad, actually. Just have the hole pre-dug and voila! Instant tornado shelter, just add dirt (backfill).

I do love the "questions" section where someone asks if it can be used for a fallout shelter...

I'm surprised some folks have asked questions like:

- Is there a way to make it so it can't be opened from the inside without a special key?
- Does it come with an option to install a camera to monitor the inside of the shelter?
- Can screams from inside the shelter be heard from outside?
- Would this shelter be included if a search warrant were issued for my residence?
