This makes me sad. His collaborations with Larry Niven seemed to me an excellent example of synergy. --Bob

Yes, the Niven-Pournelle novels are among my favorites.

I used to follow his Chaos Manor blog, but fell out of doing so in the past few years. Did he keep writing that, up to the end? tmitsss, I think you were another loyal reader.

Yes, the Niven-Pournelle novels are among my favorites.
