w00t for James

#1 Post by a1mamacat » Mon Sep 11, 2017 5:43 pm

just got offered an entry level at one of the local hospitals, in the non medical support department, ie. laundry sanitation, etc. Possibility of advancement is good, and pay is about 18.00/hour to start.!!

Good for him!

Medical support would be more rewarding in the longer run; maybe he could train for it once he's there.

Congratulations, James!

So he's not pursuing a career in the culinary arts any longer?

Nah, I think he saw it as an easier path through HS. Currently he is a 'remains transporter', but not really advancement possibilities there lol.

He wants to get into the hospital employment program, with good wages, union protection, and benefits.

I dun raised him rite :P

Yeah, that's a dead end job.

It should be educational. He'll know where all the bodies are buried. --Bob

We've been here so long that we've basically watched him grow up before our eyes! Forgive the cliche, but...where does the time go?

Good goin', James!

Congrats James!
