WWE (World Wrestling Entertainment) Hall of Fame Manager/Commentator. Managed "bad guys" but he was so funny sometimes that it was hard to laugh and boo him at the same time. He really hit his stride when he was paired with former wrestler Gorilla Monsoon as an announcing team. They called matches of course, but also hosted a show on USA Network that was sort of a wrestling version of "The Tonight Show". Some truly hilarious lines and skits came out of that pairing, with the exasperated Monsoon having to deal with the snarky one-liners spewed out by Heenan. This often resulted in Monsoon calling Heenan a "fountain of misinformation". On TV they were usually at odds. In real life they were extremely close. In fact, in Heenan's HoF induction speech, while choking back tears, he said the only thing about the night that wasn't right was that "Monsoon isn't here" (Monsoon had passed away by that time).
He also wrote a couple of books containing stories of his experiences in the wrestling business and sharing his philosophies on numerous subjects, and they revealed a man of great intelligence as well as one possessed of a tremendous sense of humor. For my money, the best at what he did. He's reunited with Gorilla now, hopefully calling a match involving Rowdy Roddy Piper.
Now THAT'S entertainment.
