100K: Mickey does predate WWII. But Buck Rogers wears spacesuit that can have mask. +1 to see if agree w/ MM.

250K: Think vanilla-nut (*what* nut?) unlikely but don't know what flav violet would actually be. Go home now.

Given what they resemble, A makes the most sense (I don't think Buck Rogers was that popular).

I've had both C and D, so I know it isn't either of them. I'll try 50:50. "Vi-O-Let" seems out of place, and at this level, that probably means its a distractor.
Spoiler
Looking it up, Vi-O-Let was discontinued in the 1920s.

I used ATA up to this point.

$100k: Mickey Mouse seems the easy answer. I'm drawn to Buck Rogers, but when 50:50 takes it away, I can't imagine what a Peter Pan mask would look like, so Mickey it is.

$250k: Violet is so out in left field that it has to be one of the three. Cinnamon would be a very glaring omission by Lifesavers. Chocolate seems more likely to be a flavor than Vanill-O-Nut (like Ghost said, what nut?), but check with +1 on it.

Looked it up; they were actually violet flavored. (I got flooded w/ Pinterest ads of vintage flavors.)
