I don't even remember a Rockford Files theme song, just the answering machine. Oooh! An answering machine, how hi-tech is Smooth Jim Rockford???

Name the other two TV theme songs that charted (one in 1981, the other 1982): (3 points each)

Hill Street Blues
Magnum PI

Hint: One was from a cop show, the other a detective show

Thanks for the hint, it at least gave me some something to try and make an educated guess. Hill Street Blues I think had a big deal theme and I know they were in 81 because I'd watch Cheers on my portable tv in my $225/mo apartment and then when I heard the HSB theme I knew it was time to go and make the donuts.... As for Magnum? He's the only early 80s detective I can think of (other than Simon & Simon and I can't remember their theme song). Scads of them in the 70s, but then everything went cops and lawyers.

Why do I even remember that name crap? I'm just a sucker for royal weddings, I guess.

Fun Fact: Andrew and Sarah are practically living together these days and would probably get married again, except they don't want to incur the wrath of Prince Philip, who can't stand her.
