Hmmm.
Spoiler
Tippecanoe and Tyler, too was Benjamin Harrison, the hero of the Battle of Tippecanoe, and John Tyler. That election wasn't until 1840.

1824 was the election stolen by that rat bastard, JQ "Junior" Adams, who wound up President, and Henry Clay. Although "the only US president-and-vice president ticket" is an odd way to say it. John C. Calhoun was the Democratic-Republican nominee for Vice President but he was not really on the "ticket" the way we think of it today. Both "Junior" and Andrew Jackson, both of whom also ran as Democratic-Republicans, endorsed him for the post. John C. Calhoun actually ran for Vice-President separately from "Junior" and Andrew Jackson. That system lasted until the Civil War when the candidates for both offices were put on the same ballot.
