Having some family issues so working on the happy part. Being the only o e I. The state with an aging parent puts a lot of pressure on you. And I am not allowed to pubically post anything so the struggle feels very lonely. My daughter told me my so. Volunteered to go sgrocery shopping for 'me'. Maybe you should go shopping for the family. Step it up people! Most of the time this house feels very full. Today I feel a bit alone.

Not sure what all is going on there but happy thought (1111) from Texas.

I understand the aging parent thing. My M-I-L is living with us, early onset dementia. We have to take care of her, drive her everywhere, make sure she is doing what she needs to be doing. Her sister helps a couple days a week. I have two sisters-in-laws living in the same city that can't be bothered to help, in the least.

Hang in there.

Sorry that things are tough.

Maybe it's OK to look into grocery delivery and some other things that seemed like luxuries?

One thing at a time. Then a breath. Then the next thing.

Been there, only I have a brother in town who helped a lot. With the benefit of hindsight, I hope you will feel like me -- proud for taking care of her, and happy that her last days were filled with family. It was pretty close to Hades while it was going on, though.

Hugs from Eville.
