Embassy security in Russia

#1 Post by Bob78164 » Wed Nov 15, 2017 2:05 am

Using a no-bid contract, the government has hired a private Russian company led by the former head of Soviet counterintelligence to provide security for the U.S. Embassy in Moscow, as well as for our consulates in St. Petersburg, Yekaterinburg, and Vladivostok.

I can't be the only one who thinks this is, at best, a staggeringly bad idea. --Bob

They must be following the philosophy "Keep your friends close and your enemies closer."

And no, you can't be the only one.
I just ordered chicken and an egg from Amazon. I'll let you know.
