Oh joy, she's a WE/WE®...

$16K: The only movie out these four that I've seen was "A River Runs Through It". Better ATA.

Most definitely a WE/WE®, but evidently a fairly recent one if she ran for Miss Colorado (see below)

As we find out later, La Tanaya has toured with Aretha.

OK, time to use a lifeline - ATA since it's a movie question and the audience is pretty good with these.

A semi-celebrity WE/WE with bonus celebrity connections...must be sweeps!

I'd also have ATA'ed the Brad Pitt question. I knew it wasn't Seven Years in Tibet , didn't think it was A River Runs Through It, but I had no idea about the other two.

Decent start. ATA was better than I might have thought and doing better than her We/We-dom, occupation and quasi celebrity-ness might have suggested at the start.

Hi Y'all,

I didn't see this program, but my wife did. According to the transcript, this is the $1000 question and reply:
$1K At the playground, a slide is an example of what type of simple machine?
A. Inclined plane
B. Pulley
C. Lever
D. Wheel and axle

According to my wife, the question was about a "see-saw", not a slide. If the question is about a see-saw, the answer is lever.
If the question was about a "slide", it would be an inclined plane, not a lever (and not a very good example of an inclined plane".

Can someone 'splain?

The question was about a slide.
