#1 Post by a1mamacat » Fri Oct 26, 2007 12:22 pm

Just got off the phone with our beloved Dr. Canadaguy.

Gave him the address and hope he will soon be here.

You may now send massive kudos my way

This enough?
Suitguy is not bitter.

feels he represents the many educated and rational onlookers who believe that the hysterical denouncement of lay scepticism is both unwarranted and counter-productive

The problem, then, is that such calls do not address an opposition audience so much as they signal virtue. They talk past those who need convincing. They ignore actual facts and counterargument. And they are irreparably smug.

Woo hoo!!!! I'm home for lunch. I haven't figured out how to do a quote, much less a funny picture in the message, but this is great news!

Thanks to the effort from all of you! A pretty good group of detectives around here with folks who knew enough to get what we needed. A job well done. :)

LOL, I got the impression he was pretty amazed and happy that we would go to so much effort to find him. I hope he shows up soon.

For our next assignment, how do we get Kazoo to delurk and post some Transcript comments again? :)

She's been a member since Oct. 17, assuming that was really her who signed up.

LOL - I was reading through this thread, thinking the EXACT same things Christie posted, planning to post them and here she did it for me.

Way too many people have my phone numbers and e-mail addresses and mailing address and physical address for me to be able to hide.

I would have to move.

Then, with my name, yous guys could never find me.

It would do no good if you tried to hide. I happen to have the phone number of a respected member of the Hawaiian law enforcement community, and she has the phone number of your mother, who knows your husband and children very well, who are friends of . . . and so on.

You're stuck with us. Deal with it.

But then someone will need to help me straighten back up.
Or you could just maintain the position so as to gracefully accept the butt creaming from upcoming FNGD's
