Mele Kalikimaka everyone!

I will be having Christmas in CT but leave for Hawaii on the 28th. My Dad (how has lived in CT for many years) has recently sold his house and is moving to be somewhere warmer and chose to go closer to my sister in Hawaii. He needs some assistance in walking so he needs someone to go with him. Yeah, the proverbial ' I'll go and help carry your luggage' kind of trip. :-)

And he has a ton of frequent flyer miles so we are going FIRST CLASS! WooHoo!

The biggest issue has been the cat. He really needs the cat nearby as it has been an awesome cat when my stepmother was terminal and a good companion for my Dad after she passed away. But the paperwork required to bring a cat out to islands that do not have rabies is a big deal. His paperwork had to be there more than 10 days prior to travel but he had to have flea and tick treatment no more than 14 days prior to travel. Oreo has been staying with us for a while as my Dad house was sold and he was living in a hotel. But since my Husband is allergic to cats, it has been interesting.
