There seemed to be a rash of epic fails on question-reading this week.

Kaushik is a student at the school where I work. Even though my co-worker is the Quiz Bowl Club moderator, none of us knew he was on WWTBAM until last week. The newsletter item announcing his appearance did not include the final outcome. I think he will forever remember to read questions more carefully as a result of this experience.

I'm sorry he had to learn that lesson on syndicated national television. I hope that he nonetheless views the whole experience as a positive in his life. --Bob
