RIP Mort Walker

#1 Post by silverscreenselect » Sun Jan 28, 2018 8:56 am

Cartoonist who created Beetle Bailey. Originally, he tried creating the strip about college students in the late 1940's but it didn't work, so he changed the setting to the Army, and the strip has been in syndication since 1950.

Age 94.

And he brought us Hi and Lois too, Lois being Beetle's sis.

I wish there were more crossovers between the two.
