We're entering the final week of the LSWE (Boo for you, YAY for me!)... and just to show I can be somewhat flexible in the schedule I normally use, here's a Theme Monday game! Why Theme Monday you might ask? Why ask why?

1 point for the title, 1 point for the artist, 3 points for the theme...

1. If you can just
Get your mind together
Uh, then come on across to me

2. All I wish is to be alone;
Stay away, don't you invade my home.
Best off if you hang outside,
Don't come in - I'll only run and hide

3. Tonight you're mine completely
You give your love so sweetly
Tonight the light of love is in your eyes

4. And I was walking down the street one day
Being pushed and shoved by people trying to beat the clock

5. I bring my money to the welfare line
I see you standing in it every time

6. We had something to learn
Now it's time for the wheel to turn
Things are said one by one
Before you know it's all gone

7. When I meet a new girl that I want for mine
She always breaks my heart in two, it happens every time

8. I hear a voice in my mind
I know her face by heart
heaven and earth are moving in my soul
I don't know where to start

9. I bought you drinks, I brought you flowers
I read you books and talked for hours
Every day, so many drinks
Such pretty flowers

10. I should have known better
Than to let you go alone
It's times like these
I can't make it on my own
Wasted days, and sleepless nights
And I can't wait to see you again

11. Your feet start tapping and you can't seem to find
How you got there, so just blow your mind

12. Why don't you stay the evening
Kick back and watch the TV
And I'll fix a little something to eat
Oh, I know your back hurts from working on the tractor
How do you take your coffee, my sweet?

And I can't wait to see you again

11. Your feet start tapping and you can't seem to find
How you got there, so just blow your mind

12. Why don't you stay the evening
Kick back and watch the TV
And I'll fix a little something to eat
Oh, I know your back hurts from working on the tractor
How do you take your coffee, my sweet?

"Where Have All The Cowboys Gone?" - Paula Cole

Theme? Musical questions

Kroxquo Bonus: Name another song with artist that fits the theme of today's game.

"What Kind of Fool Am I?" - Rick Springfield

Spoiler
We're entering the final week of the LSWE (Boo for you, YAY for me!)... and just to show I can be somewhat flexible in the schedule I normally use, here's a Theme Monday game! Why Theme Monday you might ask? Why ask why?

1 point for the title, 1 point for the artist, 3 points for the theme...

1. If you can just
Get your mind together
Uh, then come on across to me

Are You Experienced? - Jimi Hendrix

2. All I wish is to be alone;
Stay away, don't you invade my home.
Best off if you hang outside,
Don't come in - I'll only run and hide

Who Can It Be Now? - Men at Work

3. Tonight you're mine completely
You give your love so sweetly
Tonight the light of love is in your eyes

Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow? - Carole King

4. And I was walking down the street one day
Being pushed and shoved by people trying to beat the clock

Does Anybody Really Know What Time It Is? - Chicago

5. I bring my money to the welfare line
I see you standing in it every time

Why Can't We Be Friends? - War

6. We had something to learn
Now it's time for the wheel to turn
Things are said one by one
Before you know it's all gone

Can We Still Be Friends? - The Real Todd Rundgren

7. When I meet a new girl that I want for mine
She always breaks my heart in two, it happens every time

When Will I Be Loved? - The Everly Brothers

8. I hear a voice in my mind
I know her face by heart
heaven and earth are moving in my soul
I don't know where to start

9. I bought you drinks, I brought you flowers
I read you books and talked for hours
Every day, so many drinks
Such pretty flowers

What Have I Done to Deserve This? - Pet Shop Boys

10. I should have known better
Than to let you go alone
It's times like these
I can't make it on my own
Wasted days, and sleepless nights
And I can't wait to see you again

11. Your feet start tapping and you can't seem to find
How you got there, so just blow your mind

Do You Believe in Magic? - The Lovin' Spoonful

12. Why don't you stay the evening
Kick back and watch the TV
And I'll fix a little something to eat
Oh, I know your back hurts from working on the tractor
How do you take your coffee, my sweet?

Where Have All the Cowboys Gone? - Paula Cole

Theme?

All the titles represent a question. They may not all officially have the actual question mark, but I included them.

Kroxquo Bonus: Name another song with artist that fits the theme of today's game.

What's the Matter with You? - Split Enz

Are You Experienced - Jimi Hendrix

2. All I wish is to be alone;

Best off if you hang outside,

Who Can It Be Now - Men At Work

3. Tonight you're mine completely
You give your love so sweetly
Tonight the light of love is in your eyes
Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow - The Shirelles or Carole King

4. And I was walking down the street one day
Being pushed and shoved by people trying to beat the clock
Does Anybody Really Know What Time It Is - Chicago

5. I bring my money to the welfare line
I see you standing in it every time
Why Can't We Be Friends - War

6. We had something to learn
Now it's time for the wheel to turn
Things are said one by one
Before you know it's all gone
Can We Still Be Friends - Todd Rundgren (I've had a lot of fun putting coincidentally close sounding songs back to back this year...)

7. When I meet a new girl that I want for mine
She always breaks my heart in two, it happens every time
When Will I Be Loved - Everly Brothers (Linda Ronstadt, from the female perspective, was fine too since the artists were not important in this game...)

8. I hear a voice in my mind
I know her face by heart
heaven and earth are moving in my soul
I don't know where to start
How Do You Talk To An Angel - The Heights (This song would suck if it came from any other time period other than the early 90's, which was a pop music wasteland...)

9. I bought you drinks, I brought you flowers
I read you books and talked for hours
Every day, so many drinks
Such pretty flowers
What Have I Done To Deserve This - Pet Shop Boys with Dusty Springfield

10. I should have known better
Than to let you go alone
It's times like these
I can't make it on my own
Wasted days, and sleepless nights
And I can't wait to see you again
Is This Love - Whitesnake (Their other hit...)

11. Your feet start tapping and you can't seem to find
How you got there, so just blow your mind
Do You Believe In Magic - Lovin' Spoonful

12. Why don't you stay the evening
Kick back and watch the TV
And I'll fix a little something to eat
Oh, I know your back hurts from working on the tractor
How do you take your coffee, my sweet?
Where Have All The Cowboys Gone - Paula Cole

Theme? - Song titles that ask questions. And I even managed to get 12 songs that start with a different question forming word... which was not as easy as it may sound.

Image Bonus: If you know the theme, show me a fitting image. - I have no idea who in the hell David S. Pumpkins is (and looking him up, that's no surprise)... but I hadn't thought of Matthew Lesko in years... which is odd since I used to live and die by late night TV. So Weasel gets the IBB, and he doesn't even have to mail off to Pueblo, Colorado to receive it...

I did not do the math but you usually put the IBB as +5 to the score. Did you add that to my score?

I usually denote that in on my scoresheet with a circled +5, and for whatever reason I forgot to this time. Good catch, and your bonus has now been added!
