CHF and Pulmonary Edema

#1 Post by a1mamacat » Wed Feb 14, 2018 8:40 am

made for a rather busy night for Dad and I.

He phoned me aroung 8 pm, said he was having trouble breathing. I said "push you alert button and I'll be right there."

Staff were with him 30 seconds after he pushed the button, called the EMTs, and off we went to the hospital. They gave him nitro, and decided to keep him overnight (he was rather grumpy about that).

They may keep him another day or so, as there was a lot of fluid in his lungs.

Good thoughts are very welcome

Best wishes heading north.

So Dad has decided that he will have the angiograph, and hope that it works. He doesn't want any other interventions though.

I have not been able to contact my brother at all.

Thoughts & prayers.

And tell your dad not all drastic measures are permanent.
