Wisconsin voters removed from rolls

Dozens of perfectly valid Wisconsin voters discovered when they arrived at their polling places that they'd been removed from the voting rolls.
Fortunately, Wisconsin permits same-day voter registration so the people who had an extra 20 minutes, or who were willing to make an extra trip home to obtain documentation, were able to cast their ballots. But imagine this happening in a state that doesn't permit same-day registration. --Bob
