President Donald Trump’s national security adviser H.R. McMaster is leaving the White House as early as next month, NBC News reports.

No, that's not it. But I did have a dream of Weird Al riding a bus. --BobEstonut wrote:You are probably thinking of "We Are the Champions!"Bob78164 wrote:Why do I suddenly have a Queen song going through my head? If only I were better at Lyrically Speaking . . . .

It certainly isn't "Fat Bottomed Girls". That was President Clinton's theme song.Bob Juch wrote:"We Will Rock You" is going though mine.Estonut wrote:You are probably thinking of "We Are the Champions!"Bob78164 wrote:Why do I suddenly have a Queen song going through my head? I was right.jarnon wrote:"Next month" means 31-61 days from now. "As early as next month" can be even later. So it's very unlikely that General McMaster will be the next to leave.
Well, the article says he's expected to leave in the new few weeks, so McMaster may beat him to the door.jarnon wrote:I was right.jarnon wrote:"Next month" means 31-61 days from now. "As early as next month" can be even later. So it's very unlikely that General McMaster will be the next to leave.
Gary Cohn to Resign as Trump’s Top Economic Adviser
I'll go further and predict that there will be even more staff changes before General McMaster leaves.
And of course, it's only a coincidence that Donny fired Tillerson only hours after Tillerson criticized Russia:jarnon wrote:The exodus continues.
Trump ousts Tillerson, will replace him as secretary of state with CIA chief Pompeo
But according to Flock, Donny's still a better President than Secretary Clinton would have been because Secretary Clinton hurt his feelings. Things like this are why I fear for our democracy, and why I will be doing everything in my power to empower Democrats to act as a real check and balance. --BobRex Tillerson wrote:From Ukraine to Syria – and now the UK – Russia continues to be an irresponsible force of instability in the world, acting with open disregard for the sovereignty of other states and the life of their citizens.
Hopefully you'll be doing so by repeating what Clinton is saying, making sure the voters know who she is and what she thinks. That should help.Bob78164 wrote: I will be doing everything in my power to empower Democrats to act as a real check and balance. --Bob
At some point, Republicans may realize they aren't running against Hillary and Obama anymore (or Nancy Pelosi in most cases) and actually have to address real voter concerns. We'll see how successful their current strategy is in Pennsylvania tonight.BackInTex wrote: Hopefully you'll be doing so by repeating what Clinton is saying, making sure the voters know who she is and what she thinks. bob has a much more effective strategy in mind. If they don't vote for the democrat, he will sue them. After all, ethical lawyers threaten lawsuits all the time. Especially when their feelings get hurt.BackInTex wrote:Hopefully you'll be doing so by repeating what Clinton is saying, making sure the voters know who she is and what she thinks. I'm expecting you to go door to door and talk to the white married women and explain to them, that per you and Hillary, they need to quit listening to their husbands and think for themselves. Please get this message through to them loud and clear. Will you do that?
Just one little observation, bob. If trump, or anyone else running for, or in office, in a televised speech used the N-Word to describe anyone or any group, they would be toast. I would be sickened by their bigotry. Hill-babe did exactly the same thing to people who decided not to vote for her. My feelings are not hurt by her. I am sickened by her bigotry. I am even more sickened that she feels free to express such hate on an international stage, and that it is accepted by people like you. That's my opinion, bob. No links to biased websites or cherry-picked "studies" to back it up. Deal with it.Bob78164 wrote:And of course, it's only a coincidence that Donny fired Tillerson only hours after Tillerson criticized Russia:jarnon wrote:The exodus continues.

I've already done so at least once. The white married woman in question is my sister. Who lives in Pennsylvania and who told me in so many words that she usually just lets her husband tell her who to vote for. I told her that this year needs to be different and explained why I think that. I believe she was receptive to my pitch.BackInTex wrote:Hopefully you'll be doing so by repeating what Clinton is saying, making sure the voters know who she is and what she thinks. You expect us to realize it before the media does? So now she's letting her brother tell her who to vote for.Bob78164 wrote:I've already done so at least once. The white married woman in question is my sister. She's got a lot of friends. Many of whom also are white married women who live in Pennsylvania. And my sister isn't shy so I don't think she'll have any issues sharing whatever conclusions she reaches. --Bob
I guess you missed the part where I "explained why I think" that this year needs to be different. The goal, of course, was to give her information she can use to make her own decision.flockofseagulls104 wrote:So now she's letting her brother tell her who to vote for.Bob78164 wrote:I've already done so at least once. Out of curiosity, how many times have you been sickened by Trump's bigotry? And is it more or less of a sick feeling than you get from Hillary bigotry? And do you get more sickened that Trump's bigotry is accepted by a lot of right wingers?flockofseagulls104 wrote: I am sickened by her bigotry. I'm surprised you manage to put in a day's work without calling in sick from all the bigotry flu you're exposed to.
