Dutch gentleman who saved 100s of Jewish children during WWII
Age 107
I'll get his name spelled right when I can get it right on internet; so far only find on BBC broadcast

I can't find a thing but his first name is probably spelled Johan.

I'm not where I can give time to internet search; when I can I'll start with BBC, which had extensive bio on their radio broadcast

He was required to give the Nazis #s of how many children were in a given place; he'd fudge the #s & then get the kids he didn't report into hiding out in the country.
He went to his death regretting he hadn't saved more.
