Mr. Skripal is the poisoning victim, along with his already-recovering daughter Yulia, of the Russian-developed nerve poison apparently spread over the door of his home in Salsbury, England.

but his 2 guinea pigs were found dead, said to be from lack of water, & 1 "distressed state" cat was euthanized by vet that examined it. It has not been reported that any of the animals were nerve-poisoned. A reported 2nd cat has not been found.

My guess is the cat was Skripal's late wife's cat, & he's going to be upset the British medical team didn't try to save it.
I feel sad about that cat.
Of course, a week ago it looked like they were only keeping Skripal himself alive until his daughter was alert enough to authorize them pulling the plug.
