Littlest Spock-Budding Shadetree Mechanic-Kid Brag

I have rarely been as proud of any of the 3 kids as I am of Littlest Spock (15YO) right now.

He has set his sights on getting a 1977 Ford Pickup working. It has been sitting in the woods for about 20 years and he is working his way through the project, basically by himself.

My mind does not work that way at all, so I am kind of in awe. I don't know if he will get it running but my money is on him right now.

It causes my mind to turn in directions about how much we lost when computer chips were put in cars. It is so much more fun to work on a pre-chipped truck and he is learning so much more than simply plugging in the computer reader to tell him what might be wrong with the truck.
