This is the week that the TV networks reveal their new shows. First up is NBC:

Monday:

8:00 ET - The Voice
10:00 ET - Manifest (new)

Tues:

8:00 - The Voice
9:00 - This Is Us
10:00 - New Amsterdam (new)

Wed

8:00 - Chicago Med
9:00 - Chicago Fire
10:00 - Chicago PD

Thurs

8:00 - Superstore
8:30 - The Good Place
9:00 - Will & Grace
9:30 - I Feel Bad (new)
10:00 - Law and Order SVU

Fri

8:00 - Blindspot
9:00 - Midnight TX
10:00 - Dateline NBC

Saturday will be another Dateline NBC and Saturday Night Live repeats, while Sunday will be NFL Football

New Shows:

Manifest - Another Lost clone, as an airline flight lands five years in the future and passengers and crew learn the plane was presumed lost all that time (this is also a variant on an original Twilight Zone episode)

New Amsterdam - A new medical series set in a very old NY hospital patterned after Bellevue. Ryan Eggold from the Blacklist heads an ensemble cast.

I Feel Bad - Comedy about an imperfect wife, boss, friend, and mother (all the same person, played by Sarayu Blue)

The Blacklist, AP Bio, Good Girls, and Brooklyn 99 (coming over from Fox) will return after the first of the year.Taken, The Brave, Great News, and Rise are cancelled. No decision yet on whether Timeless will be renewed.

I really like Timeless

Me too. I like that the changes to history really do get reflected in the show's present.

Its in an unfortunate slot for me to tape it though. So I'll have to go to library computers to see the ones I've missed.

The Good Place and Midnight Texas. Hopefully Timeless, although I am not optimistic about its chances of coming back.

I am surprised they don't make the whole WEEK comprised of nothing but "Chicago" shows."Chicago Post Office", anyone??

They already had Chicago Law & scratched it.. (I believe it was called Chicago Justice.). The head lawyer is now on SVU as the same character. And they had somebody at the bar the firefighters run on Chicago Fire say "not so many lawyers in here these days".

There are strong rumors that a character on Chicago P.D. left because of mistreatment, not specifically stated, just "made it impossible to work", by the star, so who do they kill off? Someone nobody's complained about, but leave the star in place.

Its rumored that one of the Fire stars, the one who made that comment in character, is "eyeing the exits" themself, which would be a real shame.

Oh shoot. Monica Raymund, who plays Gabby Dawson, really is not coming back. Probably they wouldn't pay her enough. Though nobody says that. The character is going to PR to do aid work. They'll probably kill her off, dammit. Much as the wife of character Danny on Blue Bloods got killed off offscreen between seasons.

I'm glad Midnight, Texas, is coming back. But I understand that Sarah Ramos (the daughter of one of my occasional bridge partners) will not be returning to the show. --Bob
