Only two new comedies in the fall, with new dramas after the first of the year. Thursday is NFL Football, and Saturday is college football:

MONDAY

8:00 The Resident
9:00 9-1-1

TUESDAY

8:00 The Gifted
9:00 Lethal Weapon

WEDNESDAY

8:00 Empire
9:00 Star

FRIDAY

8:00 Last Man Standing (switching networks)
8:30 The Cool Kids (NEW)
9:00 Hell's Kitchen

SUNDAY

7:00 NFL Football
8:00 The Simpsons
8:30 Bob's Burgers
9:00 Family Guy
9:30 REL (NEW)

NEW SHOWS

The Cool Kids - Life in a retirement community is upset when Vicki Lawrence moves in and disrupts things for Martin Mull, David Alan Grier, and Leslie Jordan

REL - Lil Rel Howery must rebuild his life as a single father after a divorce.

Seann William Scott is replacing Clayne Crawford on Lethal Weapon. Gotham will be back in the winter for one last season. The Orville will also be back in midseason. Lucifer, The Exorcist, The Mick, and The Last Man on Earth were cancelled. Brooklyn 99 was cancelled but is moving to NBC. No word yet on Ghosted or LA to Vegas. There are no new X-Files episodes planned, but additional episodes of Prison Break and 24 are in the early planning stages.

Lucifer got cancelled. And left us on a HUGE cliffhanger unless by a miracle (hah!) some streaming service picks it up.

Gotham made renewal for a 5th and final season by the skin of its teeth, but at least it will be able o play its endgame.

The Orville will also return. However both Gotham and The Orville will not reappear until "Midseason", leaving "The Simpsons" and "The Gifted" as the only Fox shows I'll be watching for the rest of the year.

%%T&* you, Fox. Especially on the "Lucifer" matter.

Although the reappearance of Martin Mull is intriguing. That'll undoubtedly get the ax after 3 weeks....

I read that a couple of "bonus" episodes have been prepared that still may see the light of day. --Bob

Yeah but they are basically stand alone episodes that take place before the big cliffhanger stuff that ended the season.
