I'd say Sheriff Joe thinks he's "guilty" of breaking an unreasonable law, like Roy Moore when he displayed the Ten Commandments.

Just a typo. Since my hand operation, I sometimes don't hit the leftmost keys hard enough.

Also, the link should be a url, not an img.

Actually, that's my career.

So he thinks that being required to obey a court order is an unreasonable law? That's one helluva position for a former sheriff to take. --Bob

But perfect for a senator!

I think part of the reason Alabama is now represented by Senator Jones is that many of Alabama's voters didn't see it that way. That's why the race was close enough that the scandal could flip the seat. --Bob

Too close to home, given how close Roy Moore came to getting elected to the Senate and the large number of Republican Senators and Representatives who appear to have no interest whatsoever in enforcing the law, or even investigating potential violations of the Constitution. --Bob

Couldn't tell. Demographics suggested not (most California Republicans are sane and I'm not even sure you're a Republican), but I really don't think I know your political views with any confidence. As illustrated right here on the Bored, though, there are an awful lot of voters who feel exactly that way. (Devin Nunes apparently managed a huge fundraising haul -- his supporters' reward for being Donny's lap dog.) If that weren't the case, the aforementioned Senators and Representatives would be using their powers to investigate these issues. --Bob
