A man has been accused of attempting to pass a $360 billion check, which he claims was given to him by his girlfriend's mother to start a business.

I hate it when checks bounce. More importantly, so does God who has extremely high overdraft charges. This bozo better forward that check this way and if I were him, I'd pray that it clears the bank or I see a river of blood and warm piss headed his way....

Gee, I wonder how they bagged him on the marijuana charge.
I just ordered chicken and an egg from Amazon. I'll let you know.

It's all his fault. That'll be $10.

It's nice that his girlfriend's mother had so much faith in his business acumen!

I didn't click through to the story, but is the actual charge forgery or just depositing the check? It's not his fault if she wrote him a check she couldn't cover, is it?

She said she didn't write the check. The "Pay to the Order of" field was blank. I don't think the article said if there was enough money in the account to cover the check.

Unless that check came from ExxonMobil's offshore bank account, I think that check may be a fake.

And in other news, the Pope is Catholic.

You mean the antipope. I am the true successor to John Paul II, though I also happen to be Catholic....

Forgery.

Also charges of possession of marijuana and unlawful possession of a weapon.

A shame there isn't a charge for flagrant stupidity. He certainly seems to qualify.
