LeBron James will be playing in the NBA Finals for the eighth consecutive season. The only other players to do this in the four major professional sporting leagues were several members of the 1950s-60s Boston Celtics and the 1950s Montreal Canadiens. Of course, back then, there were only eight or nine NBA teams and six NHL teams and no free agency.
