Fashion icon Kate Spade has been found dead of an apparent suicide in her Manhattan home, law enforcement sources tell News 4. She was 55.
Sources say Spade was found hanged from a scarf on a bedroom doorknob at her Park Avenue residence Tuesday morning; it's not clear how tall the doorknob was.
New York police are reporting there was a suicide note. - NBC New York
