I'm happy the show was rescued but I'm not happy it's going to Netflix. I've tried very hard to resist the fragmentation of TV viewing, even though there are shows on Amazon Prime, CBS All Access, Hulu and Netflix that I would like to watch. I already pay for cable and the thought of paying four (or more) monthly fees for access to the shows is hard for me to deal with (not financially).

Ear, my cable in my bedroom went out during a thunderstorm two weeks ago. I am horrible about watching tv at night in bed before sleep. My cable set-up is weird, there isn't a cable box by the tv, there's a remote receiver, and all the cable stuff is in a closet, so I don't think a phone call to Spectrum will suffice, and I haven't had time to sit at home for a full day waiting on a repair-person. I have an Amazon Firestick, and have been using that and Netflix for my nighttime viewing. It's fast approaching the point where I may be convinced to give up my ties to cable tv! I love no commercials, there is plenty of programming I want to and will watch, and the cable bill keeps going up.

I don't do it much, but on occasion, I will put on my bluetooth Beats and get my Ipad, and watch a Netflix (or other) program in bed. We have a TV in the bedroom, but if my wife wants to sleep, I prefer the Ipad and Beats. I can watch our DVR on it so much of the time it is the day's Jeopardy show.
