I have it on good authority that Gunny won't waste his time stating the obvious.

Here's the thing, lb. I think there's some real ugliness being expressed on the Bored that can't be ignored, and I truly don't think it goes in both directions. If you haven't already, take a look at what's happening at the end of the "And so It Begins" thread. I get that we'd all prefer not to have these fights. But some things just have to be confronted, or they just continue to grow. --Bob

You amaze me. You really do.

Do you really believe that anything you've posted here has changed anyone's opinion about anything (besides their opinion of you)?

To be fair, I haven't agreed with a lot you've posted lately either... but you didn't call my attention to something you said and then just ASSume I would agree with it since I'm not your political enemy. I can not stand pretentious righteousness from either side.... and BOTH sides are loaded with those kinds of people...

I wasn't thanking you for agreeing, just for being reasonable to the situation.

Gotcha. But I do like to emphasize my non-partisan status in the rare instances I do feel the need to engage in something like this so I don't get labeled or written off as some party fool...
