Danny John-Jules is leaving Death in Paradise

He was my main reason for watching, as he was the Cat on Red Dwarf. See, if ya don't know, Red Dwarf is where this errant crewman was in suspended animation when the ship went through the Heat Death of the Universe or something & over the eons the descendants of the pregnant kitty he had smuggled on board (& is why he was in detention, I believe) have culminated in Cat, the only other actual living being left aboard. There are of course Holly, the ship's computer hologram, & the annoying bunkmate hologram Holly has created out of the records of crewman's late annoying bunkmate.
Because we couldn't have the whole show (until they cheated & brought in more humans) consisting of crewman talking to Cat, who being a cat doesn't talk, but has some great moves as a humanoid cat (John-Jules is a dancer as well as actor).
Death in Paradise is that show the British & half of Europe (& PBS watchers) watch to look at Guadeloupe, where its filmed, while the stars keep leaving because they can't stand to be on Guadeloupe for the 5 months a year they film there.
Kind of like all those actors who couldn't stand to be in Hawaii while Lost filmed.
