Lieutenant gripe

This is how you spell lieutenant. And 'lose' is what happens when you don't win. 'Loose' is not tight. Their, there and they're. (Depending on auto spell check)
That is not all.


But it goes well with General gripe.

PS: Who decided that lieutenant was spelled 'lieutenant' instead of lootenent? We need to find that person and kick there butt.

1. Misuse of "it's" and "its."

2. Misuse of "that" and "which"

I read a number of self-published books on Amazon (and even some edited books) that get these wrong. (Note the use of "that" in the previous sentence.)

Whose who's will be misused?

I will admit when posting here I do not self edit as I would in a professional correspondence. It gives Ed something to do so he feels needed.

Who the heck in Britan decided lieutenant is pronounced leftenant?

I think its Britten. Or is it it's?
In Britten they have righttenents. Or ritenents. There strange over their.
