Fireball's Fantastic 500 -- Late 1980s, Part VI

#1 Post by Pastor Fireball » Sun Aug 26, 2018 5:41 pm

I made it back safely to Cincinnati at around 9:00 last night. Although I left my oldest son a second time, I did bring back a few goodies from the Richmond metro area. Five new board games to add to the family collection--all on clearance, courtesy of One Eyed Jacques on W. Cary Street.

Anyway, we have some unfinished business here. The next ten highest songs in my 1985-89 list.

#30. Human, Human League (1986)

#29. The End of the Innocence, Don Henley (1989)
Boney Hall of Fame: #257

Only the third song of the 1980s to cross over from T_Bone's list. Better enjoy this video before Don Henley finds it and sues the uploader.

#28. Heaven Is a Place on Earth, Belinda Carlisle (1987)

#27. Part Time Lover, Stevie Wonder (1985)

His last solo #1 hit.

#26. What Kind of Man Would I Be, Chicago (1989)

Bobby Caldwell co-wrote this song, which would be Chicago's last U.S. top ten single.

Only twenty to go! You may not enjoy any music released since 1990, so these will be your final chances to relive the 1980s.
