I may not have gone where I intended to go, but I think I have ended up where I needed to be.

Vance Air Force Base confirms that at approximately 1:48 p.m. Aug. 17 a T-38 Talon stationed at the base crashed while on a training mission near Mutual. An instructor pilot was on board during the mission and ejected prior to the crash. The pilot is conscious and with emergency responders.
