Penned some immortal film quotes -

"Who ARE those guys?"

"Is it safe?"

"I'm your number one fan"

and too many from The Princess Bride to mention.

A couple of other Goldman works worth mentioning. He wrote the novel and screenplay for Magic, perhaps the best version of the ventriloquist and the evil dummy story, with Anthony Hopkins in the lead role. And he wrote the screenplay of Harper. The plot came from the Ross MacDonald novel, but the reason the film is watchable over and over is the dialogue with lots of Paul Newman snarky one-liners that Goldman wrote.

Harper could have gotten him an Oscar nomination. He was only nominated (and won) twice, for Butch Cassidy and All the President's Men.

There are also 2 which were quoted from above, but not specifically named, "Marathon Man" and "Misery."
