The New Politics in Washington

#1 Post by silverscreenselect » Wed Dec 12, 2018 8:37 am

Donald Trump got his first taste of what it's going to be like to deal with a Congress that doesn't totally kowtow, suck up to, and enable him yesterday and he didn't like it. Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer didn't take any crap, called Trump out on his lies, and got Trump to claim ownership for any government shutdown that comes.

All that in the same week that the Washington Post fact checker invents a new category, the Bottomless Pinocchio, to use to describe a politician who repeatedly lies about the same thing even when proven wrong numerous times. Who knows how many of those Trump will have on his shelf before he leaves office.
