Office of Special Counsel under FBI investigation

NPR exclusive, says NPR:

This is the office that investigates what whistle-blowers tell.

The reports are that the head of the office is doing something political with the information, instead of investigating it. Or at least that's what I thought I heard; it gets pretty convoluted.

The head of the office had asked people who work for him to wipe his computer clean.

Which is a no-no.
