I see your name on the sploofus TQOTD.....above me?!?!
Tribe was on the board earlier and I see cal is back too. Is sploofus helping with your J! training?

Sploofus and I are getting along famously. I've even managed sports and music questions (so far) as if I knew what I meant to answer. My responses have been too slow to challenge for the top, though, and I'm reasonably sure that some people behind me simply haven't played all their questions yet.

Let's just say I'm well aware that I have plenty of reasons (such as the 25 or so questions to come this month) to remain humble. I am trying to use it as J! training by reading the question, thinking of an answer, then looking for the words I expect to be there.

Thank you for prodding me to sign up. It's fun.

I missed my question yesterday and fell out of the top 100. :(

I think those would be fine shoes to wear with really long, long pants, so nothing but the soles would show. If the wearer fell, the ankle wraps might mitigate the sprains, too. Thus, as shoes go, they are practical.

I was never big on practical shoes.

I think that they would be nice with pants as well.

I missed May 1st, so I've been working my way out of that hole. Answered in 3.2 seconds this morning, and the time bonus was really nice.

As far as J! goes, hope is fading fast. I tested more than a year ago. If I don't make it on the show from that audition, it is going to be particularly disappointing.

You should still have at least 6 months, Cal. Don't give up yet.

On the other subject here, those shoes are nothing but a torture chamber!!

So today it said I answered in like 11ish seconds. But there was a notible delay between when I clicked and when it showed up.

Was I really that slow or can there be delays when you post?

Oh and WTG AgCar.

Study hard and take J for all the bucks!

After I hit the button, about 10 seconds ran off the timer this morning, but it still gave me a time of 3.2

I'm frustrated with TQOTD. Twice this month I've tried to play from my computer at school (since the question arrived after I left home in the morning), only to have an error message pop up after I clicked on my answer. The points haven't credited, and the SploofMaster says there's nothing they can do. I've decided not to stress, use the remainder of this month for practice, and give it a shot next month.

And, I'll now play in the evening -- from my home computer!

BTW -- I haven't decided whether to thank, or curse, the BB who turned me on to this new addiction!
