Two of America's most successful and generous businessmen squeezed through the needle's eye this week.
Raymond G. Perelman, one of city's greatest philanthropists, dies at 101
He and his family endowed the Perelman School of Medicine at Penn, the Perelman Jewish Day School in Wynnewood, Pa., the Perelman Building at the Philadelphia Museum of Art, and most recently Princeton's new Perelman residential college.
Vanguard's John Bogle dies at 89. Father of the index fund, he brought investing to the masses
Bogle, known as Jack, was also generous to Princeton and Philadelphia area institutions.
