I'm glad I didn't have any money on my favorites. I've been a New Orleans fan since Drew Brees got me all those fantasy points a few years back, and Kansas City is in our conference.

Bleep!

Here's a reminder of better days --

I admire how they take other teams' castoffs and make heroes of them, but I am so tired of the damn Patriots.

The Rams, I am OK with, except their defense was supposed to be monstrous this season, and it wasn't. Nobody's is anymore, except the Bears was, and they are not playing anymore.

I just wish anyone would play defense. In any sport.

Might have to switch to hockey. Or soccer.

For the next two weeks, I'll get to see the circus pretty much from my office window.

We actually got two Super Bowl tickets because we are a Falcons sponsor, but we gave those away as part of a promotion.

Congrats to Vandal. Your team has some extremely impressive accomplishments over the Brady and Company era, no taking that away.

BUT...

Well, you know what's attached to that but.

I was really hoping for a "fresh" Super Bowl, where I wasn't rooting for or against either team, just a wild, exciting game between a relative newcomer (one of them a team whose first and only SB to date came 9 years ago, the other who last appeared 17 years ago) and a team that hadn't been there in almost 50 years. Instead, we get the football equivalent of Friday XIII Part 78, Same Plot, Different Victims.

Oh well, looks like a third straight year of the Puppy Bowl for me...let me know how the S.B. commercials are

Well, right, no one plays D in any all-star games. A non-sports person asked what is on the slate for the NFL next weekend and I said touch football (Pro Bowl).

The sole exception occurred with Super Bowl 50! They wanted to honor The Sheriff, #7, (This one's for) Pat, and my wonderful Broncos!

And me!

Kid in article wrote:"...I hate Tom Brady...Joe Montana is the greatest quarterback of all time...

Unfortunately, he used the same rationale as the adults.

This "POOPER BOWL" is forever tainted because of the No-Call that put the rams in as NFC representative. Very few people (mostly snowbirds) in my area are even going to watch it.

It wasn't pretty, but the Patriots won #6.

I think the Three Stooges came back to perform in this Super Bowl, wearing Rams uniforms.
