RIP Bob-O

#1 Post by hermillion » Sun Feb 03, 2019 11:57 am

Robert Essig (Bob-O), who won $1,000,000 on the second night of Super WWTBAM in 2004, died this morning following several years of health difficulties. His daughter Ivy, who he frequently spoke about as the light of his life, reported the news.

I met Bob-O the night of his big win, when Ed Toutant and I introduced ourselves to him backstage following the taping. We told him about The Bored and he exclaimed, "There's a SUPPORT group?!" He always remained upbeat and positive, no matter the struggles he was facing at the time.

Very sad news.

That's sad news. Thanks for letting us know. --Bob

Thanks for letting us know. I do love positive people.
