Very Unusual High School Graduation Thingie

#1 Post by Spock » Tue Mar 05, 2019 5:25 pm

My Kindergarten class in the Fall of 1972 had 12 kids. ( 9 Boys and 3 Girls)

As time went on-we picked up a few more kids through move-ins and in 7th Grade, our small town paired with another small town so we graduated with 36 in 1985.

The strange thing is all 12 of us from the original class graduated together.

That just doesn't happen. One kid moved away for 6th grade, but we got him back when we paired with the other town.

At my 40th HS reunion a fellow classmate brought his 5th grade class photo (Lucy Reed Elementary in Austin, TX). There were 27 kids in the photo. I eventually graduated HS with at least 16 of them and 6 or 7 were at the reunion. Not quite the 12-0 season you had but I was pretty surprised by how many graduated with us, and happy to see so many long time friends at the reunion.
..what country can preserve it’s liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? let them take arms.
~~ Thomas Jefferson

War is where the government tells you who the bad guy is.
Revolution is when you decide that for yourself.
