RIP James 'Buster' Corley

#1 Post by Bob Juch » Wed Jan 04, 2023 11:09 am

DALLAS, Texas -- James "Buster" Corley, co-founder of the popular restaurant and entertainment chain Dave & Buster's, has died. He was 72.

The cause of death was a self-inflicted gunshot wound. He had a debilitating stroke four months ago.

I first met my wife at a Dave & Buster's.

R.I.P. Buster.

Serious question.

Is/was there a Dave? Is he still alive?

According to Wikopedia
The first Dave & Buster's was opened in Dallas in 1982 by David Corriveau and James "Buster" Corley.[3] Corley had previously operated a bar called "Buster's" in Little Rock, Arkansas, next door to a saloon and game parlor called "Cash McCool's", owned by Corriveau.[4] After opening Dave & Buster's, the two operated as co-CEOs.[5]
BTW, met my wife there in January '89.

Yes, and yes.

Yes, and yes.
Half right. The correct answer is yes and no, in that order. Dave died in 2015. --Bob

At least he's above his average.
