Sydney and Calvin were students at Margory Stoneman Douglas High School. The first anniversary of the massacre there hit them hard.

Jeremy’s daughter Avielle lost her life at Sandy Hook Elementary School in 2012. Since then, he has campaigned for better mental health care to prevent more mass shootings. But nobody realized how much pain he himself was in.

The Parkland and Newtown killers have taken three more victims.

In November, 2021, there was another mass shooting at Oxford High in Michigan. Four students were killed and seven injured. Several Oxford students are now attending Michigan State and witnessed this, less than 15 months later.
