David Baldacci (a slightly bigger author than me) created a character named Amos Decker for the book Memory Man and its follow-on, The Last Mile. Amos has hyperthymesia and synesthesia, so he forgets nothing, and he counts in colors and sees time as pictures in his head.

An author friend of mine, Colby Marshall, wrote a book called Color Blind, in which the main character, Dr. Jenna Ramey, uses the ability to solve mysteries.

See, there are others out there like you and this nice young man will help you get there.

Hee hee heee. Actually the time thing is interesting, too. When I think of decades, historical questions/leaders, etc, I see, um, structured pics or whatever. Hard to describe.

Please try to describe!

And if you ever get another chance to audition, tell them about the colors for numbers & letters.

It *should* be the kind of thing they like.

I'm not audition material any more, really. I'd have a meltdown from nerves!

I see the fifties in a dark, red antiquey sort of view.
