One of these is not what I intended, but it's 2/3 correct.
With more clues to work with, I realize that the last actor should be Shirley Knight.

I suggest putting accidental matches in brackets, thus:
A-33 PAUL NEWMAN starred in Sweet Bird of Youth with B-63 Geraldine PAGE and B-21 Shirley KNIGHT [and B-38 Rip TORN]
Actually, that wasn't the accidental one. I meant that I was thinking of a different movie entirely.

Oh, gosh! I've seen this so much lately and it finally hit me what it was.

A-7. “I just want you to know, if you ever need anything, don't be shy, okay? There are no rules in the house. I'm not like a regular mom, I'm a cool mom.”

This is AMY POEHLER in Mean Girls.

IMHO if a cartoon is allowed, a Muppet movie should be too.

Agreed. And there are plenty of Muppet/live actor movies to make it work.

Although, now that I think about it, Frank Oz was also in Inside Out.

Since there are obviously a lot of alternate answers, we will consider the game finished when every clue has been use.

I just realized B-54 must be LOVE IN BLOOM - which was Jack Benny’s theme song. Starring George Burns.

Since we have both GRAVES and BRIDGES, is it possible that one of the A List is someone else who was in Airplane?

I think B-8 must be Once Upon a Time in the West, because:

A26 MARGARET HAMILTON starred in MY LITTLE CHICKADEE with B-8 Mae WEST and B-55 W. C. FIELDS

B-42 is called THE RAINS CAME

B-46 is A QUIET PLACE, I think. Some places give different numbers on the lines of dialogue, but it seems to match up well otherwise. And Mary Kay Place has certainly been in a bunch of movies.

B-64 is KNOCK ON WOOD. Danny Kaye as a ventriloquist.

Well, it's digging pretty deep into the cast list. Remember, if a movie is used more than once, it has to be used a different way each time. And you might ... just might ... be able to find another place for Claude Rains.

be THE HOLLY AND THE IVY?

Because

is JIM CARREY in Liar Liar

A-13. JIM CARREY in Dumb and Dumber with B-26. Charles ROCKET and B-66 Lauren HOLLY

This match may be the "accidental" one Frank was talking about. He said he was talking about something other than Sweet Bird of Youth.

A-1 JOHN WAYNE starred in The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance with B-70 Vera MILES and B-19 Carleton YOUNG

BECAUSE A-28. MARGARET O’BRIEN's first movie was Journey for Margaret with B-19 Robert YOUNG and B-37. Laraine DAY (Bad Day at Black rock was used for Lewis Black, so two different uses)

I think Vera Miles is here for The Searchers with Jeffrey Hunter and Hunter doesn't go with Longest Day but with 1the Searchers and someone in the large Longest Day cast goes with Tommy Sands
