117. KEVIN KLINE = Sophie's Choice with 5. MERYL STREEP?? Something tells me this isn't right, though

118. JEAN SEBERG = St. Joan with 18. RICHARD WIDMARK

I know Grace Kelly's first role is Fourteen Hours but I can't remember anyone except Paul Douglas ….

Good point - I think we can safely say these are first credited roles.
If somebody made his or her debut as Passerby #1, I simply didn't use them.

Makes complete sense - a speaking role, a line, a credit.

Richard Widmark has been used three times.

Jessica Lange was also in Tootsie, so I bet that's the match.

There is still one wrong answer on the list.

The reason Richard Widmark is used three times is because one of the uses is wrong.

Don't Bother to Knock was not Monroe's first film, so that's the incorrect use of Widmark. My mistake.

Actually, she is one of the performers whose first appearance was as "Passerby #1" or in her case the Waitress at the Gopher Hole in a movie called Dangerous Years. So, she must be on the list for co-starring with someone else in their first film.

I think Ned Beatty's first film was Deliverance with Burt Reynolds.

This has to be Isabelle Huppert, the only answer that's not verified. Wikipedia says Isabelle became a Chevalier in 1999, not 1993. She's also nowhere near the age of 100.

This has to be Isabelle Huppert, the only answer that's not verified. Wikipedia says Isabelle became a Chevalier in 1999, not 1993. She's also nowhere near the age of 100.
Just so there's no confusion. I didn't want to suggest that the actress in question is near age 100 right now. I was suggesting that, at this rate, she will be by the time she receives two more promotions.

Isabelle's about my age. I'd cringe to think she's two promotions (just 15 years) away from 100.

I tried to give a hint earlier on that the actress who is the correct answer to this question was suggested as an incorrect answer to another question.

Mr K suugested Leslie Caron for the Ava Gardner question. She works in the puzzle with Gene Kelly.

I had to double check this one (seeing Laura Linney in Tales of the City reminded me of this movie)….

Almost there!

35. LEONARDO DiCAPRIO, 110. WILL SMITH and 115. ROBERT DE NIRO are still unused.

Checking IMDB, Smith’s debut movie is with another actor in this game. Also, DiCaprio and De Nero are both in This Boy’s Life (1993). The problem is, DiCaprio is in two earlier movies (1991 & 1992). So there are two possibilities: This Boy’s Life is meant to be the final match, or either DiCaprio or De Nero is a co-star in a debut movie that we already identified.

It looks like I made a mistake with DiCaprio's first movie. I don't know how I overlooked it. My apologies.

You’re not alone. The Wikipedia article Leonardo DiCaprio filmography says This Boy’s Life is his cinematic debut, and later down it mentions Critters 3.
