Our ac croaked. Luckily, we have invoice and warranty from 2015. Company coming out. Yay.

Oh, that would be bad, very bad, indeed. I have to call the appliance repairperson today. I'm guessing they'll want more info than "the dryer won't dry, it's red, and the door's on the front."

This is SO much better than your usual ac breakdown.
It was a mangled, fan thrown mouse/rat that mucked things up. It's in a bag in the garbage. Yes indeedy. Repair dude thought bat then we evaluated. Nope.

At my previous house, I had a rat-sized lizard crawl all the way through the exhaust duct from my over-range fan and get tangled in it. Removing the lizard didn't fix the fan.
I may not have gone where I intended to go, but I think I have ended up where I needed to be.
